Atrium Health

Atrium Health offers two summer programs, each accepting approximately 13-14 volunteers. Applications close March 15th of the application year, and you must be 15 by May 31st. Only summer volunteers are able to help out during the school year. 

• Atrium Health Cabarrus High School Volunteers are students 15 years old to rising seniors in high school.

• New volunteers are only accepted to start via the summer program.

• In Summer 2023, there were two volunteer camps, three weeks each.

• Completed applications are due March 15. Requirements: Application, teacher references, panel interview, health and vaccination assessment, and background screening.

• Important traits include, and are not limited to: dependability, commitment to the program schedule and flexibility in volunteer assignments.

• High school applicants should be motivated and want to volunteer. Meeting all requirements to volunteer is the responsibility of the applicant, not the parent/guardian. Communication should come through the applicant, not the parent/guardian.
