Humane Society

The Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County accepts volunteers under 18, but places them on a case-by-case basis. However, if you love animals and want to get involved, reach out! Volunteers do anything from kennel cleanup and newsletter editing, to handling donations and any of the other fun opportunites they do. 

Key Things to Know:

• All volunteers must be at least 16

• The Humane Society places volunteers based on need, so your volunteer experience may look different depending on your skills and upcoming events.

• Their weekday hours are until five, and they're closed Sundays, so Saturday afternoons are your best bet.
