Wings of Eagles is a fantastic summer opportunity both to get volunteer hours and make a difference in the community. Positions include working in the barn as a sidewalker, assisting with flying squirrel, or being a camp babysitter. Ther mission statement reflects their Christian values, "Enabled by God's grace, we provide an accepting, loving and fun environment where people can grow toward the best version of themselves."
Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and dress conservatively, and safely to be around horses (closed-toed shoes, well-fitting modest clothes)
Applications can be found year-round on their website, and easily submitted via scanning it in an email.
For summer camps, the volunteer day starts at 7:30 in the picnic barn, and ends around 3:15 after camper pickup.
Volunteer Orientation is mandatory, and sign-ups are posted for each training for the various sessions, including spring and winter riding.
